Overview
Marlborough UK Micro-Cap Growth is a cell of Marlborough International Fund PCC Limited, a Guernsey-domiciled collective investment scheme which acts as a feeder fund into the UK-domiciled Marlborough UK Micro-Cap Growth fund.
The award-winning managers of Marlborough UK Micro-Cap Growth invest in the dynamic growth potential of the UK’s innovative and agile small-cap companies, which have strongly outperformed the corporate giants over the long term.
Working with one of the largest and most experienced investment teams in the field, Guy Feld and Eustace Santa Barbara invest in ‘micro-cap’ businesses – primarily those with a market capitalisation of £500m or less at the time of purchase.
Small-caps tend to have fewer fund managers and analysts researching them and Guy and Eustace use their stock-picking skills to identify companies they believe have strong growth potential not yet recognised by the wider market. To help manage the risks associated with investing in small caps, the pair hold a highly diversified portfolio of around 180 stocks, with even their largest positions rarely representing more than 2.5% of the overall value of the fund.
