What is Marlborough Select Platform?

We are an online platform which helps you manage your clients’ investments in any number of accounts in one place. It can be accessed by you and your authorised employees.

Who is it for?

Your clients must be UK resident.  

What products are available?

We offer General Investment Accounts (GIA) as well as tax-efficient wrappers; Individual Savings Accounts (ISA’s) and Self-Invested Personal Pensions (SIPPs).

What is the fee structure?

Our platform fee is based on the amount of your client’s investment. We have kept our platform fee low, which means that we also need to charge product and transfer fees – Please see our full fee schedule here.

Do you have any minimums?

No, there are no minimum amounts.

Are there any forms to complete?

Our platform is completely paper-free and signatureless. You apply on behalf of your client online and we email your client for their acceptance via secure messaging. All administration is online via the platform.

Do you pay interest on my client’s cash?

We receive interest from our banking partners based on the combined cash balances held across all accounts. The amount we receive will vary depending on the total cash held and the rates that the bank pays us. We do not retain any interest and we pay everything we receive onto your clients. When are charges paid?

Charges are deducted from your clients account on the 10th of each month. If the 10th falls on a weekend or bank holiday, they will be taken on the next working day.

What investments can my client hold on Select Platform?

You have access to Marlborough DFM and Model Portfolios, and we have the functionality to add funds from over 100 fund managers and other DFM's on request. Our multi account portfolios allow you to use multiple DFMs and support both Model Portfolios and traditional DFM strategies.

Do you support clients in drawdown?

Yes, we have a flexible drawdown account which allows your clients to take control of their retirement. Income can be taken on an ad-hoc basis or regularly on the 7th, 14th, 21st or 28thof each month. (Or the following working day).

What are the benefits of becoming a registered user?

Once you have successfully registered, the Platform is fully integrated to Salesforce. You will have access to our communities’ page which gives you enhanced technical support and access to the administration portal.

Can I integrate the Platform to my Backoffice System?
