Russel co-manages our Global High Yield Bond fund. He has more than ten years’ investment experience. Russel holds a degree in engineering from the University of Cape Town. He spent time as a credit analyst for a hedge fund and seven years at Barings Asset Management, where he was a Director in the European fixed income team, covering high yield and distressed investments. In 2022, Russel joined TCW, which is today the appointed sub-investment manager for our Global High Yield Bond fund. He is based in TCW’s London office and has responsibility for European credit research.
