Sheldon's role encompasses responsibility for oversight of the IFS funds, as well as working with our sponsors to enhance their investment propositions and processes. He has more than 30 years’ investment management experience. Sheldon graduated from the University of Cape Town in 1994, with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, with majors in economics and financial accounting. His career includes more than ten years at fund management company Architas, latterly as Deputy Chief Investment Officer (CIO). He joined Marlborough in October 2021 as CIO of Multi-Asset, before being appointed overall CIO at the beginning of 2023. Sheldon was appointed to his current role in January 2026. He is a CFA Charterholder.
