Over 20 years’ financial services experience

Stephen is an Investment Director working in our Personal Portfolio team. He has over 20 years’ financial services experience and before joining Marlborough in August 2026 he spent 16 years at Rathbones. During his time at Rathbones, Stephen managed discretionary portfolios for a wide variety of clients, with introductions predominantly coming from financial advisers. He previously led Rathbones’ investment proposition aimed at the financial adviser market. Stephen is a former professional rugby player and is a qualified Mountain Leader and Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme supervisor.
